What is Overpayment, and how does it work?

Overpayment is your virtual wallet, which can be used to pay for unpaid invoices on Roundtrip.

The funds will appear on your Overpayment balance in the following cases:

  • You topped up your Overpayment by credit card or an invoice.

  • There were refunds for your bookings prepaid by wire transfer.

  • You sent us payment by bank transfer, it was credited to your account, but wasn’t allocated to invoices.

How can I pay from my Overpayment balance?

Paying from the Overpayment balance is possible for orders with the “Pay later” option.

To pay from the Overpayment balance:

  1. Navigate to the “Reporting” tab in your account.

  2. Open “Unpaid invoices.”

  3. Choose the invoice and scroll down.

  4. Click “Pay from overpay.” The amount will be credited from your Overpayment balance.

Where can I view my Overpayment balance?

To view your Overpayment balance:

  1. Navigate to the “Reporting” tab in your account.

  2. Open “Unpaid invoices.”

  3. Choose the invoice and scroll down.

  4. Next to the “Pay from overpay,” you will see your Overpay balance.

How can I top up my Overpayment balance?

You can top up your Overpayment by card or by an invoice.

To top up your Overpayment balance by card:

  1. Open your Roundtrip personal account.

  2. Navigate to the “Reporting” tab.

  3. Open “Unpaid invoices.”

  4. Choose the invoice and scroll down.

  5. Click the “Top up overpayment” button in the top right corner.

  6. Choose the correct contract.

  7. Select “Top up with bank card.”

  8. Enter the required amount.

  9. Click “Top up.”

To top up your Overpayment balance by invoice:

  1. Navigate to the “Reporting” tab in your account.

  2. Open “Unpaid invoices.”

  3. Choose the invoice and scroll down.

  4. Click the “Top up overpayment” button in the top right corner.

  5. Choose the correct contract.

  6. Select “Generate a top-up invoice” and enter the required amount.

  7. Click the “Generate an invoice” button.

  8. The invoice will be created in the “Unpaid invoices” tab, which you can use to top up overpayments.

For which orders can I pay with the Overpayment balance?

Paying from the Overpayment balance is possible if you chose the “Pay later” option when booking. You can pay with Overpayment in the “Reporting” tab, “Unpaid invoices” section.

Where can I view my overpayment top-up invoices?

To access and download your overpayment top-up invoices:

  1. Go to your personal account.

  2. Navigate to the “Reporting” tab.

  3. Open “Unpaid invoices.”

  4. Choose the invoice and scroll down.

  5. Select “Overpay top-up invoices.”

  6. Click the download arrow icon next to the invoice.
